Belt Programs
For Anyone Ages 7 and UP
Arm your children, yourself,
your family with Self
Esteem!
Is your child armed to succeed in life?
To do well in school?
To stay clear of drugs?
To develop physically and mentally to maximize their
unique potential?
Are you in good health and shape? At your optimum weight? Stress-free and
relaxed? Confident in your ability to handle yourself against someone
threatening you?
Children who attend Martial Arts and Fitness are destined to succeed in life because we teach them about goals, self-esteem, discipline, and persistence at an early age. More importantly, the traits children learn in our unique program will pay off for the rest of their lives!
Teenagers and Adults who attend Martial Arts and Fitness continue building successful lives by building upon the life principles they already know and helping them reach and maintain healthy physical fitness and confidence.
Dear Parent:
Every parent wants the best for their
child, but how do you prepare them for all the challenges that they face in
today's world? How do you teach them the motivation, discipline, and proper
attitude necessary for success? It's not an easy task because this type of
education is not found in our schools. It's not found on our soccer or little
league fields. It's not even found in our community organizations and that's
really a shame. In fact, it's a crime because teaching children the basic traits
like goal setting, motivation, and self-esteem, at a young age, can have a
massive impact on what the child accomplishes in later life.
As I write this for you I am drinking coffee from a very special mug. It's a
"Super Heroes" mug and it was given to our school as a gift several years ago by
a young boy named Justin Rue. Justin was a good kid but a little shy and
withdrawn. He lacked self-confidence and focus, perhaps because he was a little
slower than some of the other boys in his class. His mother was a teacher, a
single mother, and was trying her best to help him with his grades but nothing
seemed to work until she enrolled him in our karate program!
At first progress was slow. Justin's attention span was weak, his coordination
was poor, and he acted like he didn't much want to be there. We kept working
with him though, and each week there was an improvement. Soon, he was awarded
his first new belt signifying progress. Justin's confidence started to improve.
He started to raise his hand and ask questions. His focus and concentration were
also improving and gradually his grades started to get better. As the weeks went
by his attitude, self-esteem, and motivation increased until finally the day
arrived. Justin's mother came in with tears in her eyes as she asked me to stand
by Justin for a picture of him with his latest report card.
Justin stood beaming at the camera with his first A ever. Later, they gave
the instructor the mug as a special thank you for helping Justin improve his
grades. But it wasn't just his grades that had improved!, it was his entire
life!
Over the years I have seen thousands of children benefit from our unique programs.
